(D29-1 MOUNTAIN CROSS TO CALLANDS LODGE)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2021

The Scottish Borders Council (D29-1 Mountain Cross to Callands Lodge) (Temporary Closing) Order 2021 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 00:01 on 29 November 2021 and is expected to remain in effect until 23:59 on 3 December 2021 – 24 hour closure. The Order is required for BT Openreach works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the D29-1 from the A701 at Mountain Cross to the B7059 at Callands Lodge, Romanno Bridge.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the D29-1, A701 and B7059 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
