(INNERLEITHEN CHRISTMAS PARADE)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2021

 

The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of one day, will come into force at 16:15 on 4 December 2021 and is expected to remain in effect until 17:15. The closure is required to facilitate the holding of a relevant event, being the Innerleithen Christmas Parade torchlight procession.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along High Street and Leithen Road, Innerleithen. The closures will come into effect only at such times as instructed by a police officer in uniform. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
