(A701 GLENBRECK BRIDGE)
(TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION) NO 2 ORDER 2021
The Scottish Borders Council (A701 Glenbreck Bridge) (Temporary Speed Restriction) No 2 Order 2021 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:30 on 11 October 2021 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of three weeks – 24 hour restriction. The Order is required to ensure a safe working environment while bridge repair works are being carried out.
When the Order comes into effect a 30mph speed restriction will be in force on the A701 at Glenbreck Bridge south of Broughton from a point 50 metres south of the bridge northwards for 100 metres.
