(ALBERT ROAD, EYEMOUTH)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2021

The Scottish Borders Council (Albert Road, Eyemouth) (Temporary Closing) Order 2021 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 13 October 2021 and is expected to remain in effect until 18:00 on 3 November 2021 – 24 hour closure. The Order is required for a water and drainage connection.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Albert Road, Eyemouth.

The alternative route for northbound traffic is via Coldingham Road and Northburn Road to the point of closure. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained.
