(BROWNSMUIR PARK, LAUDER)

(TEMPORARY NO WAITING) ORDER 2021

The Scottish Borders Council (Brownsmuir Park, Lauder) (Temporary No Waiting) Order 2021 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 00:01 on 11 September 2021 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of 18 months - 24 hour restriction. The Order is required in the interests of public safety due to increased queuing traffic attending Lauder Petrol Station.

When the Order comes into effect, in the interests of public safety, no person shall permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked on the south side of Brownsmuir Park, Lauder from its junction with the A68 westwards for 55 metres.
