(C24 GORRENBERRY BRIDGE)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2021

The Scottish Borders Council (C24 Gorrenberry Bridge) (Temporary Closing) Order 2021 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 30 August 2021 and is expected to remain in effect until 18:00 on 1 October 2021 – 24 hour closure. The Order is required for bridge works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the C24 at Gorrenberry Bridge, north of Newcastleton.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the C24, C77A, A7, C76A, C26, B6357, B6399 and C24 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
