(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2021

The Scottish Borders Council (C76 Blainslie) (Temporary Closing) Order 2021 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 22 July 2021 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of two days between the hours of 08:30 and 17:00 each day. The Order is required for resurfacing works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the C76 Blainslie road from Milsieburn Bridge to Kedslie.

The alternative route for northbound traffic is via the C76, Mill Road, the A68 and C76 to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
