(ANCHORHILLL VICTORIA CROSS MEMORIAL)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2021

 

The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of one day, will come into force at 14:00 on 24 July 2021 and is expected to remain in effect until 15:30. The Order is required to facilitate the holding of a relevant event, being the unveiling ceremony of the Anchorhill Victoria Cross Memorial.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along the D65/5 from the A6105 to Anchorhill.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the A6105, D66/5 and D65/5 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic, the reverse of the foregoing.

Pedestrian access will be maintained.
