(D51-5 PYATSHAW TO BLYTHE)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2021

 

The Scottish Borders Council (D51-5 Pyatshaw to Blythe) (Temporary Closing) Order 2021 is being made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 13 May 2021 and is expected to remain in effect until 18 May 2021 between the hours of 08:30 and 17:00 on weekdays only. The road will be open over the weekend of 15 and 16 May 2021. The Order is required for carriageway patching works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the D51-5 from Pyatshaw to Blythe.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the D51-5, A697, B6456 and D51-5 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
