(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2021

 

The Scottish Borders Council (Elm Row, Selkirk) (Temporary Closing) Order 2021 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 09:00 on 3 May 2021 and is expected to remain in effect until 17:00 on 17 May 2021 – 24 hour closure. The Order is required for new service connections.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Elm Row, Selkirk at Thorniehall Cottage.

The alternative route for northbound traffic is via Elm Row, Dovecot Park, Scotts Place, Clifton Road and Elm Row to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
