(A72 PEEBLES ROAD, INNERLEITHEN)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2021

The Scottish Borders Council (A72 Peebles Road, Innerleithen) (Temporary Closing) Order 2021 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 25 January 2021 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of four days between the hours of 09:15 and 16:30 each day. The Order is required for resurfacing works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the A72 Peebles Road, Innerleithen.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the A72, A703, A6094, B6392, A7 and A72 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
