(MANSFIELD ROAD, HAWICK)

(TEMPORARY ONE WAY) ORDER 2021

The Scottish Borders Council (Mansfield Road, Hawick) (Temporary One Way) Order 2021 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 27 January 2021 and is expected to remain in effect until 18:00 on 16 March 2021 – 24 hour restriction. The Order is required to permit Hawick Flood Protection Scheme works to take place.

When the Order comes into effect a One Way Order in a westerly direction will be in place on Mansfield Road, Hawick from Mansfield Gardens to Mansfield Crescent. No person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle in an easterly direction.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via Mansfield Crescent, Mansfield Park and Mansfield Gardens to the point of restriction.
