(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2021

 

The Scottish Borders Council (Coulter Avenue, Galashiels) (Temporary Closing) Order 2021 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 18 January 2021 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 09:30 and 18:00. The Order is required for Scottish Water manhole repairs.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Coulter Avenue, Galashiels from Clapperton Place westwards for 40 metres.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via Coulter Avenue, Meikle Kemp Lane, Knoll Terrace and Clapperton Place to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
