(TEMPORARY CLOSING) NO 2 ORDER 2020

The Scottish Borders Council (Eildon Road, Hawick) (Temporary Closing) No 2 Order 2020 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 7 December 2020 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of four days between the hours of 08:30 and 15:00 each day. The Order is required for patching works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Eildon Road, Hawick from Burnhead Road to Galalaw Road.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via Galalaw Road, Hillend Drive, Fraser Avenue, Kenilworth Avenue, Burnfoot Road and Burnhead Road to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
