(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2020

The Scottish Borders Council (Bowmont Street, Kelso) (Temporary Closing) Order 2020 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 1 December 2020 and is expected to remain in effect until 3 December 2020 between the hours of 08:30 and 15:00 each day. The Order is required for patching works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Bowmont Street, Kelso from Roxburgh Street to Poynder Park.

The alternative route for southbound traffic is via Edinburgh Road, Croft Road, Inchmead Crescent, Inch Road and Bowmont Street to the point of closure, for northbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
