(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2020

 

The Scottish Borders Council (Chapel Street, Selkirk) (Temporary Closing) Order 2020 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 00:01 on 30 November 2020 and is expected to remain in effect until 23:59 on 9 December 2020 – 24 hour closure. The Order is required for Scottish Power works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Chapel Street, Selkirk from Halliday’s Park to Ettrick Terrace.

The alternative route for north-eastbound traffic is via Chapel Street, Ettrick Terrace and Halliday’s Park to the point of closure, for south-westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
