(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2020

The Scottish Borders Council (C46 Ednam) (Temporary Closing) Order 2020 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 09:00 on 30 November 2020 and is expected to remain in effect 22:00 on 4 December 2020 – 24 hour closure. The Order is required for BT works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the C46 from Ednam to the Hideaways Orchard.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the B6461, A6089, A698 and C46 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.

Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained with minor delays.
