(KING STREET AND DUKE STREET, GALASHIELS)

(TEMPORARY NO WAITING) ORDER 2020

The Scottish Borders Council (King Street and Duke Street, Galashiels) (Temporary No Waiting) Order 2020 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 09:30 on 21 November 2020 and is expected to remain in effect until 18:00 on 22 November 2020 – 24 hour restriction. The Order is required for Scottish Water manhole repairs.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked on the following streets in Galashiels:

1. the south side of King Street from Duke Street to number 60 King Street; and
2. both sides of Duke Street from King Street to number 5 Duke Street.
