(D63/4 SANDYSTONES BRIDGE)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2020

The Scottish Borders Council (D63/4 Sandystones Bridge) (Temporary Closing) Order 2020 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 26 October 2020 and is expected to remain in effect until 16:00 on 13 November 2020 – 24 hour closure. The Order is required for bridge repairs.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the D63/4 at Sandystones Bridge.

The alternative route for southbound traffic is via the D63/4, C66, A68, B6400 and D63/4 to the point of closure, for northbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
