(TEVIOT FOOTBRIDGE, ROXBURGH)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2020

The Scottish Borders Council (Teviot Footbridge, Roxburgh) (Temporary Closing) Order has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 09:00 on 26 October 2020 and is expected to remain in effect until 17:00 on 5 April 2021. The Order is required for repairs to the footbridge.

When the Order comes into effect, no person shall walk or cycle across the Teviot Footbridge, Roxburgh.

The alternative eastbound pedestrian and cycle route is via the footpath to Teviot Road, Roxburgh and follow the path along the dismantled railway to cross the viaduct, the westbound route is the reverse of the foregoing.
