(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2020

The Scottish Borders Council (D14/3 Hornshole) (Temporary Closing) Order 2020 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 25 October 2020 and is expected to remain in effect until 1 November 2020 as detailed below. The Order is required for tree clearance.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the D14/3 at Hornshole on 25 October 2020 and 1 November 2020 between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 each day.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the D14/3, D13/3, Burnfoot Road, Hamilton Road, Mansfield Road, Mart Street and the A698 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
