(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2020

The Scottish Borders Council (Langtongate, Duns) (Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2020 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 19 October 2020 and is expected to remain in effect until 23 October 2020 between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 each day. The Order is required for resurfacing works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall:

(a)   drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle; and

(b)   permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked,

on Langtongate, Duns, from New Road to Willis Wynd.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via New Road, Newtown Street, Currie Street, Easter Street and South Street to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
