(D19/3 AT ORCHARD FARM, HAWICK)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2020

The Scottish Borders Council (D19/3 at Orchard Farm, Hawick) (Temporary Closing) Order 2020 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 22:00 on 5 October 2020 and is expected to remain in effect overnight until 06:00 on 6 October 2020. The Order is required for Scottish Water works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the D19/3 at Orchard Farm, Hawick.

The alternative routes are as follows:

For eastbound traffic - via the D19/3, Braid Road, Wellogate Brae, Mill Path, Tower Dykeside, Tower Knowe, Sandbed, Albert Road, Wilton Path, Princes Street, the A7, Mart Street, the A698, A6088, D20/3 and D19/3 to the point of closure.

For westbound traffic – via the D19/3, D20/3, A6088, A698, B6399, Cross Wynd, Allars Bank, Mill Bank, Wellogate Brae, Braid Road and the D19/3 to the point of closure.
