(TEMPORARY NO WAITING) ORDER 2020

The Scottish Borders Council (B709 Innerleithen to Heriot) (Temporary No Waiting) Order 2020 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 00:01 on 29 August 2020 and is expected to remain in effect until 18:00 on 2 October 2020, and will be in effect only when appropriate traffic cones are in place on the affected lengths of road. The Order is required on the grounds of public safety due to obstruction issues caused by indiscriminate parking on the B709 near Innerleithen.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked on the B709 Innerleithen to Heriot road from the 30mph limit in Innerleithen to Leithen Water Bridge at Innerleithen Golf Course

A map showing the restrictions can be seen at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk.
