(RAMSAY ROAD AND RENWICK TERRACE, HAWICK)

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2020

The Scottish Borders Council (Ramsay Road and Renwick Terrace, Hawick) (Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2020 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 06:00 on 17 August 2020 and is expected to remain in effect until 16:00 on 1 September 2020, as detailed below. The Order is required for carriageway patching resurfacing works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall:

(a)   permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked on:

       (i)    Ramsay Road, Hawick cul-de-sac from number 118 to the garages, from 06:00 on 17 August to 16:00 on 1 September 2020;

       (ii)   Renwick Terrace, Hawick – from Ramsay Road to Ramsay Road, from 06:00 to 16:00 on 18 August 2020;

       (iii)  the whole length Ramsay Road, Hawick from 06:00 to 16:00 on 18 August 2020; and

(b)   drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Ramsay Road, Hawick cul-de-sac from number 118 to the garages on 27 & 28 August 2020 and on 31 August & 1 September 2020 between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 each day. There is no alternative route.
