(SCOTT CRESCENT AND DOVECOT PARK, SELKIRK)
(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2020
The Scottish Borders Council (Scott Crescent and Dovecot Park, Selkirk) (Temporary Closing) Order 2020 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 17 August 2020 and is expected to remain in effect until 25 August 2020 as detailed below. The Order is required for resurfacing works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the following streets in Selkirk:
(a) Closure 1: Scott Crescent from 17 to 18 August 2020 and from 24 to 25 August 2020 between the hours of 09:00 and 16:30 each day. The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via Dovecot Park, Scotts Place, Shawpark Road and Scott Crescent to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing; and
(b) Closure 2: Dovecot Park on 18 August 2020 between the hours of 09:00 and 12:00. The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via Dovecot Park, Scotts Place, High Street, Back Row, Hillside Terrace, High School Lane and Dovecot Park to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
