(THE LOAN, SELKIRK)
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2020
The Scottish Borders Council (The Loan, Selkirk) (Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2020 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 06:00 on 3 August 2020 and is expected to remain in effect until 16:30 on 21 August 2020 as detailed below. The Order is required for resurfacing works.
When the Order comes into effect, no person shall
(a) permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked on The Loan, Selkirk from 06:00 on 3 August 2020 to 16:30 on 21 August 2020 – 24 hour restriction, on weekdays only; and
(b) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along The Loan, Selkirk from the A7 to South Port from 17 August 2020 to 21 August 2020 between the hours 09:00 and 16:30 each day. The alternative route for north-westbound traffic is via the A7, Back Row and South Port to the point of closure, for south-eastbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
