(SUNNYHILL ROAD, HAWICK)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2020

The Scottish Borders Council (Sunnyhill Road, Hawick) (Temporary Closing) Order 2020 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 3 August 2020 and is expected to remain in effect until 21 August 2020 between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 each day, on weekdays only. The road will be open over the weekends of 8 & 9 August and 15 & 16 August 2020. The Order is required for civil engineering works prior to resurfacing.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Sunnyhill Road, Hawick from Dean Road to Wood Norton.

There is no alternative route.
