(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2020

 

The Scottish Borders Council (C101 Crumstane, East of Duns) (Temporary Closing) Order 2020 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 30 July 2020 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30. The Order is required for a bridge inspection.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the C101 at Crumstane, east of Duns.

The alternative route for northbound traffic is via the C101, D46/6 and A6105 to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.

Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained with minor delays.
