(B710 CLOVENFORDS TO CADDONFOOT)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2020

 

The Scottish Borders Council (B710 Clovenfords to Caddonfoot) (Temporary Closing) Order 2020 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 00:01 am on 13 July 2020 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of 18 months – 24 hour closure. The Order is required for Spaces for People.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the B710 Clovenfords to Caddonfoot from its Junction with Caddon Haugh to its Junction with the A707.

The alternative route for Southbound traffic is via the B710, A72 and A707 to the point of closure, for Northbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.

Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained, as well as access for local residents and for deliveries.
