(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2020

 

The Scottish Borders Council (Chapel Brae, West Linton) (Temporary Closing) Order 2020 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 06:00 on 15 July 2020 and is expected to remain in effect until 18:00 on 21 July 2020 – 24 hour closure. The Order is required for Scottish Power works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Chapel Brae, West Linton from Lower Green to Main Street.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via Lower Green and Main Street to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
