SCOTTISH BORDERS COUNCIL

FOOTWAY CLOSURE AND NO WAITING NOTICE

HIGH STREET, MELROSE

In accordance with Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Scottish Borders Council will:

1. temporarily close the footway outside the George and Abbotsford Hotel, High Street Melrose – 24 hour closure; and

2. prohibit parking on the east side of High Street, Melrose from number 11 to number 16, from Monday to Friday during working hours,

for the duration of this Notice.

The maximum duration of this Notice is 21 days and it is expected that the closure and no waiting restriction will be in effect from Monday 29 June 2020 to Sunday 12 July 2020 inclusive.

These restrictions are required to permit urgent repair works to be carried out to the George and Abbotsford Hotel.
