(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2020

The Scottish Borders Council (Morrison Place, Hawick) (Temporary Closing) Order 2020 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 30 March 2020 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of five days between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 each day. The Order is required for a new gas connection.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Morrison Place, Hawick from Green Lane to Beaconsfield Terrace Lane.

The alternative route for southbound traffic is via Beaconsfield Terrace, Myreslaw Green and Morrison Place to the point of closure, for northbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
