(JEDBURGH HAND BA’)
(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2020
The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of one day, will come into force at 11:00 on 27 February 2020 and is expected to remain in effect until 22:00. The Order is required to facilitate the holding of a relevant event, being the 2020 Jedburgh Hand Ba’.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along the following streets in Jedburgh:
High Street, Market Place, Pleasance, Queen Street,
Canongate – from Queen Street to High Street, Friarsgate,
Exchange Street – from Friarsgate to High Street, Castlegate,
Abbey Place – from Dean’s Close to Market Place, Dean’s Close.
These closures will come into effect only at such times as instructed by a police officer in uniform and/or appropriate traffic signs are displayed on the affected lengths of road.
