(A699 TEVIOT BRIDGE, KELSO)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2020

The Scottish Borders Council (A699 Teviot Bridge, Kelso) (Temporary Closing) Order 2020 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 24 February 2020 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of three days between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 each day. The Order is required for resurfacing works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the A699 at Teviot Bridge, Kelso.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the A699, A68, B6404, A6089, A698 and B6352 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.

Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained with minor delays.
