(WOOD STREET & KILNKNOWE PLACE, GALASHIELS)

(TEMPORARY NO WAITING) ORDER 2020

The Scottish Borders Council (Wood Street & Kilnknowe Place, Galashiels) (Temporary No Waiting) Order 2020 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 16 February 2020 and is expected to remain in effect until 18:00 on 20 February 2020 – 24 hour restriction. The Order is required for BT network upgrade works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked on the following streets in Galashiels:

1. Street – both sides, from a point 50 metres west of its junction with Kilnknowe Place to a point 50 metres east of the same junction;
2. Kilnknowe Place – both sides, from Wood Street southwards for 30 metres; and
3. Kilnknowe Place – west side only, from Wood Street northwards for 25 metres.
