(B6399 SOUTH OF HAWICK AT WHITROPE HERITAGE CENTRE)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2020

The Scottish Borders Council (B6399 South of Hawick at Whitrope Heritage Centre) (Temporary Closing) Order 2020 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 17 February 2020 and is expected to remain in effect until 18:00 on 21 February 2020 – 24 hour closure. The Order is required for BT Works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the B6399 south of Hawick at the Whitrope Heritage Centre.

The alternative route for southbound traffic is via the B6399, A7, A698, A6088, B6357 and B6399 to the point of closure, for northbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
