(PEEBLES HIGH SCHOOL TRANSPORT)
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2020
The Scottish Borders Council (Peebles High School Transport) (Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2020 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 17 January 2020 and is expected to remain in effect until 31 January 2020 on weekdays only. The Order is required in the interests of public safety and to safely manage the transportation of school pupils to and from Peebles High School. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
When the Order comes into effect, no person shall (i) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle, or (ii) permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked, along those lengths of road and car park on the dates and at the times detailed in the Schedule below.
The provisions of The Scottish Borders Council (Off Street Parking Places) Order 2019 will continue to apply subject to the restrictions relating to Kingsmeadows Car Park, Peebles imposed by this Order.
The Scottish Borders Council (Peebles High School Transport) (Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2019 dated 23 December 2019 is hereby revoked.

No Waiting – Peebles
Parking will be prohibited on Kingsmeadows Road, Peebles – from outside number 8 to number 3 Kingsmeadows Road, on the following dates, between the hours of 08:00 and 17:30 each day:

Monday 20 January to Friday 24 January 2020
Monday 27 January to Friday 31 January 2020
Car Park Closure – Peebles
Kingsmeadows car park will be closed to vehicular traffic on the following dates, between the hours of 08:00 and 17:30 each day:
