(LADHOPE BANK AND HIGH BUCKHOLMSIDE, GALASHIELS)

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2019

The Scottish Borders Council (Ladhope Bank and High Buckholmside, Galashiels) (Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2019 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 6 January 2020 and is expected to remain in effect until 28 February 2020 - 24 hour restriction. The Order is required for gas main replacement works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall:

(a)   permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked on High Buckholmside, Galashiels from number 21 to number 119 from 6 January 2020 to 28 February 2020; and

(b)   drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Ladhope Bank, Galashiels at its junction with High Buckholmside from 13 January 2020 to 28 February 2020. The alternative route for north eastbound traffic is via High Buckholmside, Magdala Terrace, Halliburton Place and Ladhope Bank to the point of closure, for south westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
