(B6400 PINNACLE BRIDGE)
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2019
The Scottish Borders Council (B6400 Pinnacle Bridge) (Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2019 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 10 October 2019 and is expected to remain in effect until 15 November 2019 as detailed below. The Order is required for bridge works.
When the Order comes into effect:
(a) no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the B6400 at Pinnacle Bridge, west of Ancrum as follows:
(i) on 10 October 2019 from 17:00 to 22:00; and
(ii) from 08:00 on 11 October 2019 to 17:00 on 21 October 2019.
The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the B6400, B6359, A699, A68 and B6400 to the point of closure, for eastbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing; and
(b) a 30mph speed restriction will be in place on the B6400 from its junction with Pinnacle Farm eastwards for 55 metres from 07:00 on 18 October 2019 to 17:00 on 15 November 2019
