(VARIOUS LOCATIONS, HAWICK)

(TEMPORARY NO WAITING) ORDER 2019

The Scottish Borders Council (Various Locations, Hawick) (Temporary No Waiting) Order 2019 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 23 September 2019 and is expected to remain in effect until 4 October 2019 between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00.  The Order is required for BT Openreach Network Upgrade Works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked in the following various locations in Hawick:-

from 08:00 on 23 September to 18:00 on 24 September 2019:

     • Croft Road, Hawick – from No.14 to No.4 – north side only.

     • Croft Road, Hawick – from Oliver Crescent to No.1 – south side only

     • Oliver Place, Hawick – from North Bridge Street to No.1 – east side only

     • North Bridge Street – from Oliver Crescent to No.17 – east side only

     • High Street, Hawick – from Brougham Place to No.74 – east side only

from 08:00 on 25 September to 18:00 on 27 September 2019:

     • High Street, Hawick – from O’Connell Street to No.46 – east side only

     • High Street, Hawick – from Cross Wynd to Tower Knowe – east side only

from 08:00 on 30 September to 18:00 on 1 October 2019:

     • Howegate, Hawick – from Tower Knowe to Drumlanrig Square – east side only.

from 08:00 on 2 October to 18:00 on 4 October 2019:

     • Drumlanrig Square, Hawick – from Howegate Service Road to Loan – north side only

     • Loan, Hawick – from Beaconsfield Terrace to No.24 – north side only

              • Loan, Hawick – from Drumlanrig Place to Cheviot Road – north side only
