THE SCOTTISH BORDERS COUNCIL

(BORDERS FESTIVALS – PEEBLES)

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) NO 4 ORDER 2019

 

The Scottish Borders Council are making the above Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, with the consent of Scottish Ministers under Section 16B(6)(b) of the said Act. The Order, which has a maximum duration of one day will come into force at 10:00 on 31 August 2019 and is expected to remain in effect until 16:00. The Order is required to facilitate the holding of a relevant event, being the Peebles March Riders Association Spurs Rideout. The closures will come into effect only at such times as instructed by a Police Officer in uniform.  

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along those lengths of road in Peebles and district at the times specified in the Schedule below.
