THE SCOTTISH BORDERS COUNCIL

(BO’NESS REVIVAL, DUNS)

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2019

 

The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of one day, will come into force at 08:00 on 31 August 2019 and is expected to remain in effect until 17:00. The Order is required to facilitate the holding of a relevant event, being the Bo’ness Revival, Duns event. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall:

  1. drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along New Road and Newtown Street, Duns between the hours of 10:00 and 17:00. The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via Langtongate, South Street, Market Square and Currie Street to the point of closure, for westbound traffic, the reverse of the foregoing; and
  2. permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked on Newtown Street, Duns between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 as follows:
  1. from New Road to Black Bull Street – both sides
  1. from Black Bull Street to Newtown Street car park – south side
