(ST MARY’S ROAD, MELROSE)

(TEMPORARY NO WAITING AND PARTIAL REVOCATION) ORDER 2019

The Scottish Borders Council (St Mary’s Road) (Temporary No Waiting and Partial Revocation) Order 2019 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 19 August 2019 is expected to remain in effect until 11 October 2019 at the hours detailed below. The Order is required for works at the Greenyards rugby football ground.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked on St Mary’s Road, Melrose from the High Street to Greenyards Lodge, except between the hours of 08:15 to 09:00 and 15:00 to 15:30 from Monday to Thursday and 08:15 to 09:00 and 12:00 to 12:30 on Friday.

Article 3(c) of the Scottish Borders Council (St Mary’s Road, Melrose) (Temporary No Waiting) Order 2019 dated 24 June 2019 is hereby revoked as at 00:01 on 19 August 2019.
