(FORTHILL TERRACE AND BRIDGE STREET, JEDBURGH)
(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2019
The Scottish Borders Council (Forthill Terrace and Bridge Street) (Temporary Closing) Order 2019 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 22 July 2019 and is expected to remain in effect until 16:15 on 13 September 2019 - 24 hour closure. The Order is required for a new gas main.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along Forthill Terrace and Bridge Street, Jedburgh as follows:
Closure 1: Forthill Terrace - from 08:00 on 22 July 2019 to 16:15 on 13 September 2019; and
Closure 2: Bridge Street - from 08:00 on 12 August 2019 to 16:15 on 13 September 2019.
The alternative routes are as follows:
Closure 1: for northbound traffic via Waterside Road, Priors Road, Stonehill Place and Forthill Avenue to the point of closure, southbound the reverse of the foregoing.
Closure 2: for northbound traffic via Bridge Street, High Street, Bongate, Bongate Gardens and Old Bongate to the point of closure, southbound the reverse of the foregoing.
