(HIGH STREET, GALASHIELS)

(TEMPORARY NO WAITING) ORDER 2019

The Scottish Borders Council (High Street, Galashiels) (Temporary No Waiting) Order 2019 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 22 July 2019 and is expected to remain in effect until 18:00 on 31 July 2019 – 24 hour restriction. The Order is required for Scottish Power essential repairs.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked on High Street, Galashiels as follows:

(a)   from number 57 to number 79 – west side only

(b)   from Johnstone’s Close northwards for a distance of 15 metres – east side only
