(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2019

The Scottish Borders Council (D72/5 Oxmuir) (Temporary Closing) Order 2019 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 15 July 2019 is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30. The Order is required for BT works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the D72/5 at Oxmuir from the B6364 to the C93.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the D72/5, B6364, D71/5, C93 and D72/5 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.

Access for residents will be maintained with minor delays.
