(ST MARY’S ROAD, MELROSE)

(TEMPORARY NO WAITING) ORDER 2019

The Scottish Borders Council (St Mary’s Road, Melrose) (Temporary No Waiting) Order 2019 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 1 July 2019 is expected to remain in effect until 11 October 2019 at the times detailed below. The Order is required for works at the Greenyards rugby football ground.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked on St Mary’s Road, Melrose as follows:

(a)   from 1 July 2019 for two days, except between the hours of 08:30 to 09:00 and 15:00 to 15:30 each day;

(b)   from 3 July 2019 to 16 August 2019, Monday to Friday only; and

(c)   from 19 August 2019 to 11 October 2019, Monday to Friday only, except between the hours of 08:30 to 09:00 and 15:00 to 15:30 on Monday to Thursday and 12:00 to 12:30 on Friday.
