(C46 STICHILL TO NEWTONLEES)
(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2019
The Scottish Borders Council (C46 Stichill to Newtonlees) (Temporary Closing) Order 2019 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 07:00 on 17 June 2019 and is expected to remain in effect until 17:00 on 15 November 2019 - 24 hour closure. The Order is required for sewer works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along the C46 from Stichill to Newtonlees.
The alternative route for southbound traffic is via the C46, B6364, D80/4 and C46 to the point of closure, for northbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained with minor delays.
