(B6357 NEWCASTLETON)
(TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION) ORDER 2019
The Scottish Borders Council (B6357 Newcastleton) (Temporary Speed Restriction) Order 2019 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 17 June 2019 and is expected to remain in effect until 30 August 2019 - 24 hour restriction. The Order is required to ensure a safe working environment during refurbishment works to Short Sike Bridge.
When the Order comes into effect a 20mph speed restriction will be in force on the B6357 in Newcastleton from Buccleuch Terrace to Holmfoot.
